When my fiancé Michael proposed, I dove headfirst into the planning process.

Two weeks into our engagement, we had an epiphany: if we are going to spend an arm and a leg on this wedding, why not go somewhere exceptional?

I didn’t want a wedding like everyone else’s. I wanted a wedding that was a magical experience for all our guests, something that was completely different than any other wedding they had been to.

And that’s how we booked a wedding in Ireland!

Within weeks, I had secured our venue, photographer, florist, celebrant, harpist, DJ, and sent our save-the-dates. I loved every second of the research, logistics, and design — and quickly realized I had a knack for this.

But even with everything meticulously organized, nothing prepared me for what came next.

In May 2025, we BARELY made it to Ireland for our dream destination wedding. After flight delays, multiple vendor cancellations, and rain on the big day, we still pulled off the best wedding of all time. How? Because we had help.

Our dear family friend Kristy stepped in as our day-of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly — from managing late vendors to adapting to last-minute venue changes. She took my trusty planning binder and let me relax and soak in the moment.

That experience solidified my mission: to do the same for other couples.
